USA Softball NJ District 2, the New Jersey host for Lou Bishop's Blue Chip showcase series for elite teams, is launching competitive open tournaments at the 12U and 14U levels, at its main complex in Cranford, NJ, a half mile from Exit 137 of the Garden State Parkway. 

These tournaments are both National Qualifiers, with the winners berthed into, respectively, the USA Softball 12U National Championship in Richmond, Virginia; or the USA Softball 14U National Championship in Johnson City, Tennessee. All participants may take part in their respective USA Eastern National Tournaments.

Four game minimum, weather permitting, three seeding games and all teams seeded into Sunday's playoff round. Two quality umpires, hand-picked by the commissioner, on every game. $600. The 12U Tournament is Friday July 2 - Sunday July 4; the 14U tournament is Friday June 18 - Sunday June 20. Friday games for local teams only.
